Born in Istanbul, Nakhoda is a bespoke jewellery house that draws deeply from the textures, rhythms, and rituals of its city. When approached to create their brand identity, we sought to reflect not just the luxury of the product, but the layered story behind it — one of heritage, intention, and quiet distinction.

The visual system is built around contrast: organic ornament meets structured layout, soft curves meet sharp typographic lines. The wordmark, refined yet expressive, echoes the flow of hand-drawn forms, while a rich, muted palette grounds the brand in timeless elegance.

In every touchpoint, from monograms to packaging, the identity balances reverence for tradition with a modern, understated sensibility. For Nakhoda, jewellery isn’t just adornment; it’s narrative made wearable. Our work aimed to honour that. By crafting a brand that feels as personal, permanent, and precious as the pieces themselves.
